Benches for Farm Lake – Community Wellbeing Project

Peace of Mind Angling CIC, working in partnership with the Metropolitan Police Angling Society (MPAS), delivers wellbeing, community and inclusion through angling and the outdoors for emergency service personnel, young people, veterans and families.
We are improving our Farm Lake facility to create welcoming spaces where people can relax, connect and enjoy time outdoors in a safe environment.
We are seeking donated materials to build 6 heavy-duty wooden benches (or equivalent timber) for use around the lake, communal areas and event spaces.
Materials required
Treated timber for 6 heavy-duty outdoor benches (or ready-made wooden benches).
Alternatively:
• Treated sawn timber suitable for bench construction
• Coach screws / fixings
• Post-mix concrete or post fix
• Exterior wood screws / bolts
• Wood preservative / oil
Any surplus timber, offcuts or suitable building materials that could be used for this project would be greatly appreciated.
