Portlethen Moss Local Nature Conservation Site

Peatland restoration. Building dams with piling to create ponds and stem the flow of water out of the peatland - keeping the peat wet and alive and storing carbon.

Materials required

Plastic piling sheets 1 metre long approx, 20 sheets or whatever is available.
