Fire valve testers are designed to test whether a fire valve cuts off at it should during installation and servicing of oil systems. Each tester has an adjustable temperature dial to set the required cut off point. Once the required testing temperature is achieved a green light on the device will glow. Once the light glows you can insert the valve sensor into the unit and wait 5 minutes to see whether or not the valve trips as it should. They conform to EN 60730-1.
