As part of our pitch redevelopment works at the stadium (Castle Road, Dumbarton G82 1JJ), we have excavated approximately 3,500t of the original sub-base material to facilitate the transition from a natural grass pitch to a new synthetic (AstroTurf) surface.
The material predominantly comprises good quality sand and gravel granular fill, and we anticipate it being suitable for general engineering fill applications. We have the WAC test available, confirming suitability for reuse.
We would be open to supplying it at a competitive rate of £8 per tonne, which could offer a cost-effective alternative to imported fill while also supporting a more sustainable reuse of site-won material.
In terms of logistics, we can offer;
Phasing of material release in line with your programme.
Good level access for loading arrangements at our site.
Basic material information and any testing you may need to undertake to meet certain specific criteria.
