Factory-assembled StairBox timber staircase – brand new and completely unused. Selling due to change of mind with staircase we wanted fitted. This is a high-quality, factory-made L-shaped (quarter-turn) staircase, manufactured by StairBox, designed for a loft conversion or other residential application. The staircase was specially manufactured to the dimensions shown on the original StairBox technical drawing and has never been installed or used. Ideal for anyone looking for a substantial, ready-made timber staircase without the usual manufacturing lead time. CONSTRUCTION The staircase is constructed using: 27mm softwood strings 22mm MDF treads 9mm MDF risers 41 x 41mm Redwood Pine handrail - Cheshire Groove Design 63 x 32mm Redwood Pine baserail - Cheshire Groove Design 41 x 41mm Redwood Pine square spindles 90 x 90mm Redwood Pine newel caps 90 x 90mm Redwood Pine newel posts Factory-assembled using the manufacturer's standard blocks and wedges construction and blocks and wedges included seprataely for the MDF steps that are unconstructed. STAIRCASE DESIGN This is an L-shaped / quarter-turn staircase, with the staircase changing direction towards the left through approximately 90 degrees using the shaped/winder section shown on the manufacturer's drawing. The staircase has been factory assembled and supplied as partially complete staircase configuration. The main part of the staircase is assembled as well as the balustrade to left-hand side also being assembled with spindles, base rail and handrail to the correct pitch. Both winders would be made up using the individual MDF stair treads provided. The photographs and technical drawing form an important part of the description, so please study them carefully before purchasing. WHAT IS INCLUDED The sale includes the StairBox factory-assembled staircase shown in the photographs and technical drawing, including the timber staircase components supplied as part of this configuration. No fixtures or fittings are provided. Due to the size and weight (approximately 133.3kg) of the staircase, collection with an adequate size vehicle is required as the staircase is bulky and cannot be unassembled.
