Vent Axia MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) unit. Suitable for continuous whole house ventilation at up to 400m3/hr.
This has been running in our house for about 10 years and I've only removed it because we added more space and needed a larger system. It was serviced recently; the engineer observed, that one of the fans is noisy and will need to be replaced. It spins and moves air okay, just rumbles noticeably. Checking online forums, people seem to have worked out that the solution is usually to replace the bearings inside it - they wear down.

This has the internal humidity sensor that increases the fan speed if it detects very humid extract air (e.g. showering or cooking)
Can be controlled from the front panel, the wired remote controller (duplicates the front panel), or a number of voltage inputs for controlling it from smart homes / building management systems: 0-10V input for 0-100% continuous fan speed control, 230V AC boost input (e.g. from bathroom light switch or cooker hood).
Really economical to run; VA quotes the maximum power as 190W but in normal use with the fans at 45%, we were seeing around 40W.

Hard to price this. They're about £1,400 new (ignore the list price on VA's website, it's mad) and if you sort out that fan, you've got the core of a very nice ventilation system. Or maybe strip it for spares for one you already have.
The filters in it are only a month old. I'll also include a brand new set of filters that I have.
It fits in a typical car boot, or send a van to collect.
